When two passionate entrepreneurs approached us with a heartfelt dream of creating a small yet beautiful play zone for their café, we could not say no. Their vision was to design a space that would delight children while fitting seamlessly into their café in Germany.

The play area, designed for 7 Zwerge (Seven Dwarfs), occupies a compact 25 m² within the café. From the very beginning, the brief was clear, the space needed to be fun, functional, and thoughtfully designed. The must-haves included a play frame, a slide, and a ball pit, all delivered within a required budget. The clients asked for colours that felt playful and a little funky, but not overwhelming, something timeless that would not become boring over time. Trusting our work completely, they gave us wonderful creative freedom.

We designed the space in line with this brief, and our partners brought the concept to life beautifully. The play zone was opened quickly and has been functioning brilliantly ever since, becoming a much-loved part of the café experience.
