When we first connected with Torie and Nick, the founders of Little Locals, we instantly understood the heart behind what they were creating. Little Locals is so much more than an indoor play space, it is a welcoming community built by parents, for parents.

Inspired by their own two young children, Torie and Nick created Little Locals after struggling to find nearby spaces where families could truly relax, connect and enjoy quality time together. They wanted to create somewhere that felt safe, clean and genuinely welcoming, where children could explore freely through movement, imaginative play and social connection.

Torie and Nick asked us to support with the design and implementation of the play gym within their new play café, and we were instantly excited by the vision! We love creating spaces that encourage gross motor development through active play, helping children build strength, coordination, balance and confidence, all while supporting cognitive development, sensory processing and social interaction.

Together, we designed a vibrant and engaging play gym where little ones can climb, crawl, balance, slide and explore freely in a safe and stimulating environment. Filled with rope tunnels, bridges, secret hideaways, ramps, climbing walls, foam pits and, of course, slides, the space creates the ultimate adventure circuit for burning energy, building confidence and encouraging curiosity through play.

Every part of Little Locals has been designed with both purpose and joy in mind. Rooted in the belief that childhood should feel magical, imaginative and unhurried, it is a place where children can make memories, parents can build friendships, and families feel at home from the moment they walk through the door.
